HERNDON, Va., Sept. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the largest technology council in the nation, announced today that Startup America Partnership Chairman and Revolution CEO Steve Case will keynote the organization's Titans event on Oct. 14 from 7 – 9:15 a.m. at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner in McLean, Va.

During his keynote, Case, who is one of America's best-known and most accomplished entrepreneurs and philanthropists, will be interviewed by local venture capitalist John Backus to discuss the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship for getting the U.S. economy back on track.
A member of the White House Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, Case was chosen to represent America's entrepreneurs at President Obama's joint Congressional address on Thursday, Sept. 8. Case created Revolution in 2005, is chairman of the Case Foundation, and also co-founded America Online (AOL) in 1985 and served as AOL Time Warner chairman of the board until 2003.
