Start of Astana EXPO-2017 Ticket Sales
ASTANA, Kazakhstan, June 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
On June 10, 2016, tickets for the International Specialized Exhibition Astana EXPO-2017 became available online. The ticket sales program enables anyone to attend the event.
The ticket sales program for the exhibition is unique and unparalleled in the history of world expos. For instance, free access to the event will be provided for Great Patriotic War participants and disabled veterans, the disabled in general, orphans and children under the age of six. Retirees, mothers of three or more children under the age of 18, students and schoolchildren will be entitled to a discount.
The exhibition expects over five million visits. To date, 90 countries and 15 international organizations have confirmed that they will participate in the EXPO-2017 exhibition.
Tickets and other related products will be gradually made available. From June 10 through July 10, there will be a promotional period when the tickets will be sold at the lowest possible price. Thus, from June 10 through June 20, there will be a 50% discount. From June 21 through June 30, tickets will be sold at a 30% discount, while from July 1 through July 10, the discount will amount to 20%.
Besides, from July 10 through August 10, there will be a promotional period for tour operators and resellers. On September 1, 2016, offline sales offices will open throughout Kazakhstan. As part of national celebrations, it is planned to organize itinerant sale of tickets. Tickets for the exhibition will also be sold via the partners of EXPO-2017: JSC Kazpost, JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy and JSC Air Astana.
In general, tickets will be presold all through 2016 and up to June 9, 2017. Tickets are available on the website http://www.tickets.expo2017astana.com.
