"Stars Under The Stars" Evening To Benefit American Ballet Theatre
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- American Ballet Theatre (ABT) presents its annual Stars Under The Stars: An Evening in Los Angeles, Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the Beverly Hills home of Jeanne and Anthony Pritzker. The event marks the beginning of ABT's celebration of its 75th anniversary. Aaron Sorkin will serve as Honorary Chair, and Co-Chairs include Avery and Andy Barth, Dr. Richard Merkin, and Laura and Jamie Rosenwald. The evening will feature a one-night-only special performance by the world-renowned artists of American Ballet Theatre, including Principal Dancers Veronika Part, Hee Seo, and Cory Stearns, dancing selections from the Company's unrivaled repertoire. A formal dinner will be served by Lucques Catering immediately following the performance.
This is the third consecutive year the Pritzkers have hosted the gala, with all proceeds benefiting ABT. Stars Under The Stars raises funds to support the Company's extensive domestic and international touring, the creation of significant new works, and award-winning education and outreach programs, which are also held in California.
