StarKist Board Director and Former President of Nestle Korea, Sam Hwi Lee, Named by Dongwon Group as Interim President of StarKist upon Resignation of CEO In-Soo Cho
PITTSBURGH, Oct. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- StarKist Co., a subsidiary of the Korean-based Dongwon Group, today confirmed that current StarKist Board Director and former President of Nestle Korea, Sam Hwi Lee, was named interim President of StarKist upon the accepted resignation of In-Soo Cho, StarKist President and CEO. Mr. Cho, who joined StarKist in March 2011, is moving on to pursue new opportunities.
Mr. Sam H. Lee becomes interim President of StarKist, effective November 1, 2012. Mr. Lee previously held executive posts with Nestle USA, the Dole Food Company and Armour Foods Company. Mr. Lee will be based in Pittsburgh at the StarKist headquarters during his interim assignment. The Dongwon Group will initiate a search for a permanent successor.
