WASHINGTON, Oct. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- David L. Black has joined the law firm of Cuneo Gilbert & LaDuca, LLP as of counsel in its Colorado office.  Through a career spanning more than 40 years, David has been a partner in three major law firms.

A nationally recognized expert on scientific evidence, David has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for clients in product liability and intellectual property lawsuits in numerous settlements and more than 20 jury verdicts and other trials.  He has successfully represented plaintiffs in high-stakes class actions and complex multidistrict litigation.  He has also defended and prevailed in bet-the-company litigation for Fortune 500 corporations.

Of particular note are multimillion dollar settlements David won for plaintiffs from a major manufacturer of faulty rubber radiant heating hose used in homes and businesses, and millions won for farmers from a Fortune 50 manufacturer of a defective fungicide that destroyed trees and plants on which the chemical was applied.  He has also defended major corporations against claims brought for personal injury and other damages from allegedly flawed products.
