Stage Partners with DonorsChoose.org to Bring Classroom Dreams to Life
Here's how you can get involved and give for the good of learning
HOUSTON, July 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Stage Stores, Inc. (SSI) is proud to give back to the community, and is thrilled to announce a new partnership with DonorsChoose.org to raise funds for local classrooms through the Community Counts program. Store guests will have the opportunity to donate in stores from July 18 through August 19, 2018.
Donations provide funding for local classroom projects which help to supply students and schools with much needed materials, and brighten the school year for teachers and students alike. As an added show of appreciation, guests donating $5 or more at the register will receive a $5 Community Counts coupon for use at Bealls, Goody's, Palais Royal, Peebles and Stage retail stores.
"At Stage, we believe our guests come first—it's part of our core values. We know our guests care deeply about their communities and their schools," says Bill Gentner, EVP and Chief Marketing Officer of Stage Stores. "The efforts we're kicking off today will help those schools and provide needed funding for teachers and their students."
"We're delighted to partner with Stage Stores to bring resources to classrooms," said Janelle Lin, Senior Vice President of Business Development. "So many teachers spend their own money to pay for classroom supplies. With the support of Stage Stores and customers across their 840 stores, thousands of students will receive the resources they need to learn!"
