MONROVIA, Calif., July 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- STAAR Surgical Company (NASDAQ: STAA) today announced that it will release financial results for the second quarter ended July 1, 2011 on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 after the market close.  The Company will host a conference call and webcast on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern / 1:30 p.m. Pacific to discuss the Company's second quarter results and recent corporate developments.
