Jeffrey Robison has joined St. Thomas as Director of Development, bringing thirty years' development experience, including five university capital campaigns for which he raised $1.7 billion. Over the last fifteen years, Jeff has served as the Vice President for Advancement at the University of South Florida and Case Western Reserve University as well as the President of the Florida State University Foundation. He has been active with the Council for the Aid and Support for Education (CASE) and received three awards from CASE. Jeff received his bachelors and masters degrees from Ohio University where he played football, made the All Mid American Conference and Honorable Mention All American. Jeff recently retired from the State of Florida. He resides in Miamiwith his wife, Nancy.
As the new Director of Annual Giving, Northwester University graduate Cheryl A. Lawko brings over 20 years of professional development experience. She has an extensive background in higher education, healthcare and human services serving as a former Director of Development for Northwestern University, the University of Chicago, University of Miami, Barry University, the American Diabetes Association, the Arscht Center, the American Heart Association, Everglades University and the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami. Cheryl offers particular expertise in major and planned gifts, capital campaigns, annual giving and creation of comprehensive development programs. A fifteen year resident of Miami Dade County, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Leave a Legacy Steering Committee.
