Wild Atlantic Way - We are just days away from the launch of the spectacular Wild Atlantic Way which will be the longest designated driving route in the world. Stretching from the Inishowen Peninsula in Donegal to Kinsale in County Cork, the route will offer visitors an opportunity to truly discover Ireland's breath taking West Coast. This spectacular experience will be 2,500km long and include 156 discovery points along the way.
2014 Another Great Year - Every year there is a raft of wonderful things to see and do in Ireland. The highlight events in 2014 include Limerick City of Culture. The capital of the south west will host a full calendar of arts, literary and theatrical spectaculars which will attract audiences from around the world. The 'Grande Partenza' or 'Big Start' of the Giro d'Italia will bring the world's greatest cyclists to Ireland in May. The Galway Arts Festival welcomes the cream of international theatre talent in July. The Croke Park Classic in August will see the University of Central Florida take on Penn State in their college football season opener. The Belfast Festival at Queens and the Dublin Theatre Festival ensure that there is a packed calendar right through to the end of the year.
