"This is a momentous occasion in the history of our university," said SGU President Greg Main. "These changes will bring about a significantly improved physical environment and a dramatically enhanced working environment with state-of-the-art operating systems and friendly interfaces for students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends."
The program will be launched over a 13-month period. The Talisma CRM solution addresses student admissions and retention. Main said it will enable the university to more effectively communicate with its students through a variety of media formats including email, chat and SMS text messaging. SGU will also deploy Talisma Fundraising, a donor and alumni management system, to help achieve its fundraising goals. The fundraising solution can be designed to work in concert with the CRM platform to help the university transition graduates from college students to alumni donors.
"SGU stands to gain a greater sense of community and school pride from having new and advanced capabilities by which to communicate with students, faculty and all its constituents, in a more personalized and proactive way," said Timothy B. Loomer, president and CEO of Campus Management. "We look forward to supporting the university's mission to continuously increase an already outstanding reputation for administrative and academic excellence."
"We are changing the way we approach communications," said SGU Vice President of Operations Harley Lingerfelt. "Through this project, we anticipate being able to more effectively communicate with our students from the time they show interest in SGU, to graduation and beyond."
Additional Campus Management solutions selected for implementation are CampusVue Portal, CampusVue HR, Payroll and Finance.
