INDIANA, Pa., Nov. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- S&T Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: STBA), a full-service financial institution with branch locations in 10 Pennsylvania counties, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Mary Dornetto as senior vice president, managed assets division manager, credit administration for the bank's Irwin branch. In this role, Dornetto will oversee the management of assets by providing recommendations for strategic plans for foreclosure, work out or bankruptcy for the bank's credit administration.

Dornetto has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She most recently served as senior vice president, special assets for NexTier Bank in Evans City, Pa. She also held the role of senior vice president, commercial lending at NexTier, where she managed all participation lending, selling and purchasing for the bank. Prior to this, she was vice president, commercial real estate – production, participations/business development and special assets in addition to vice president, special assets at Dollar Bank's Pittsburgh and Cleveland offices. Dornetto began her career in the financial services industry at Mellon Bank as product manager, commercial and residential software.

Throughout her career, Dornetto has completed continuing education coursework through the American Banking Institute and the Risk Management Association and Appraisal Institute. She currently serves as chairman of the board at the Blind Association of Butler and Armstrong Counties, and has devoted her time to a host of organizations that serve the community, such as American Diabetes Association, Art House Inc. and Urban Land Institute.
