S&T Bank Announces the Promotion of Three Key Executives

INDIANA, Pa., Jan. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- S&T Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: STBA), a full-service financial institution with branch locations in 10 Pennsylvania counties, is pleased to announce the promotion of the following three individuals:

David Ruddock, senior executive vice president, chief administrative officer for market sales, bank operations and corporate technology: In this role, Ruddock is responsible for strategic management of collaboration strategy, operations management, technology development and planning, strategic management of Business Banking/Cash Management and serves as information security officer. Most recently, he was executive vice president/operations and technology for the bank. During his 26 years with the bank, he has played an integral role in numerous acquisitions starting in 1985 with Homer City State Bank, Union Bank and Trust, Vanguard Savings Bank, Peoples Bank of Unity, PFC and Irwin Bank and Trust. Ruddock currently serves on the board of directors for Pennsylvania Bankers Association's Security Committee and New Choices Career Development and the YMCA. He holds an MBA from Kent State University, and a BA in chemistry and economics from Washington and Jefferson College.
Robert Boscarino, senior vice president, commercial loan regional manager: In this role, Boscarino is the market leader in Greensburg and oversees the commercial lending function in this market. He was formerly a commercial lender for 14 years with the bank. Prior to this, he spent 27 years at the former Southwest National Bank of PA (now First Commonwealth Bank) in Greensburg. Boscarino currently serves as treasurer and board member for the Westmoreland Regional Hospital Foundation, is a member of the finance committee for Excela Health along with serving as a board member of the Economic Growth Connection of Westmoreland County. Boscarino attended St. Vincent College. He graduated from the Pennsylvania schools of Banking and Commercial Lending at Bucknell University and the National Commercial Lending Graduate School at the University of Oklahoma.
Joe Tosh, senior vice president, business banking manager: In this role, Tosh is responsible for overseeing the areas of cash management product development and business banking. He also develops and manages marketing strategies, campaigns, promotions and initiatives to grow the east suburban Pittsburgh market, and is responsible for meeting sales and income goals for the business banking department. Currently engaged in a large-scale fundraising project as a capital committee member for the East Suburban YMCA, he is also a member of the Association for Financial Professionals and the Pittsburgh Association for Financial Professionals. He received his JD and Master's degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and B.S. from Bucknell University. He is also a Certified Treasury Professional.
