S&T Bank Announces Smart Start(SM) Scholarship Recipients

INDIANA, Pa., June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- S&T Bank (NASDAQ: STBA), a full-service financial institution with branch locations in 10 Pennsylvania counties, is pleased to award three area students with $1,000 to put toward their college tuition as part of the S&T Bank Smart Start(SM) Scholarship Program 2011. Recipients of this year's scholarships are:

Michelle Tucek, a 2011 graduate of Gateway Senior High School, will attend Gannon University and study to become a physician's assistant.

Claire Stalteri, a 2011 graduate of Indiana Area Senior High School, will attend Duquesne University to study pharmacy.

Kerry Snyder, a 2011 graduate of Redbank Valley Junior-Senior High School, will attend Carnegie Mellon University and major in computer science.
