As is tradition, each inn will be paired with a wonderful local restaurant or culinary partner, providing an array of signature treats and sumptuous bites for your enjoyment, as you stroll inn to inn.
In addition, there are 2 Bonus Properties this year! On Saturday, be sure to visit the Ximenez-Fatio House, and on Sunday, catch the historic Peña-Peck House Museum.
Built as a merchant's home and place of business in 1798, the coquina stone Ximenez House later became "Miss Fatio's", St. Augustine's most fashionable boarding house. Today, it is a historic house museum, carefully researched and authentically restored to reflect its heyday during Florida's first tourism boom from the 1830s through the 1850s.
The Historic Peña-Peck House museum is another one of St. Augustine's great treasures. Built circa 1750 of native coquina, it was home to prominent Spanish, British and American families, who helped shape three centuries of St. Augustine's history. Our well-versed docents bring this history full circle amidst the 19th-century art and antique furnishings of the last family, the Pecks, to call this magnificent estate "home" from 1837 to 1931.
The tour can be navigated on foot or you can opt to take advantage of the Old Town Trolley shuttle that will offer complimentary transportation along the tour route.
Ticket and T-Shirt sales are now available online at their website: www.staugustinebandbtour.com, and tickets, $40, are only available through our point-of-sale partners, Rembrandtz and Metalartz, located in downtown St. Augustine. Tour updates and information will be available on our website, where you can print your ticket/receipt and tour maps for ease when making your very special weekend plans.
Partial proceeds of this year's tour will benefit the Lightner Museum in St. Augustine, a not for profit organization whose mission it is to preserve, maintain, research and interpret the Museum's Collections for the educational benefit of the visiting public. The Museum is sustained by admissions and donations, and is supported by a dedicated staff of volunteers.
The Bed & Breakfast Holiday Tour is funded in part by the St. John's County Tourist Development Council, HistoricCoastCulture.com.
