St. Andrews Country Club of Boca Raton Members Team With Morgan Pressel to Raise $502,000 to Fight Breast Cancer
BOCA RATON, Fla., Jan. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Kathryn Krickstein Pressel MammoVan purchased in 2009 through fundraising efforts of St. Andrews Country Club members tested more than 1,000 women in Palm Beach County, 875 of whom had never had a mammogram. With much of the funds raised this year, the Kathryn Krickstein Pressel MammoVan continues providing affordable and convenient access to mammograms, clinical breast exams and breast health education.

St. Andrews Country Club members teamed with LPGA Tour player and St. Andrews Resident Touring Professional, Morgan Pressel and raised $502,000 in the 4th Annual 'Morgan & Friends Fight Cancer' Tournament on January 4 and 5. The membership raised $1.7 million in four years with net proceeds benefitting the Morgan Pressel Foundation which supports Boca Raton Regional Hospital and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Tour professionals in the tournament included Morgan Pressel, Natalie Gulbis, Paula Creamer, Angela Stanford, Rickie Fowler and Dave Stockton, who kicked off an evening reception with 350 St. Andrews Country Club members, sponsors and guests.
Foursomes played nine holes with one of the professional golfers and attendees enjoyed a short game exhibition led by Dave Stockton, world renowned putting teacher after morning play.
