Squarespace Raises $40M in Series B Funding from Global Growth Investor General Atlantic

NEW YORK, April 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Squarespace, the leading all-in-one website publishing and e-commerce platform used by hundreds of thousands of businesses, today announced it has raised $40 million in Series B funding from global growth investor General Atlantic. This capital will be used to continue scaling the company's engineering, design, and infrastructure teams in pursuit of delivering groundbreaking new products while accelerating global expansion of the Squarespace platform. Anton Levy, Managing Director and head of Internet & Technology at General Atlantic, will join the company's board of directors.
