Squaremouth Launches Travel Insurance Help Center

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Nov. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Squaremouth, America's fastest growing travel insurance comparison site, has launched the Travel Insurance Help Center, an online resource dedicated to answering any and all questions about travel insurance.

The Help Center is managed by Squaremouth's team of industry experts, who respond to inquiries and post coverage updates regularly. In addition to Squaremouth's team, their large network of insurance providers can post updates and respond to travelers' questions about their own products.

"Giving travelers the opportunity to speak with various experts of the travel insurance community is one of the biggest benefits of the Help Center," explains Squaremouth Director of Marketing, Megan Singh. "If someone posts a question, they will receive an immediate response from Squaremouth's own industry experts, and in some cases, directly from the company who may end up as their insurance provider." Travelers can also seek the advice of their peers. "There is no other place on the web dedicated to sharing advice about travel insurance between industry experts and experienced travelers," she adds.

The Help Center has been populated with hundreds of questions Squaremouth receives from customers on a daily basis. "We continue to update the Help Center daily," says Singh. "Our goal is for travelers to search for a question and receive an immediate, trustworthy answer."

Questions are organized into eleven topics, including "Explanation of Benefits" , "Claims", and "Providers". If a traveler can't find what they're looking for, they are invited to post their question publicly. Or, if they have a question regarding a personal matter, it can be sent privately to Squaremouth's team.

Another valuable benefit of the Help Center is it's up-to-date "Current Event" section, which is dedicated to answering frequently asked questions about current events and their impact on travel insurance. Currently, Ebola and terrorism are covered. Additional sections are added as new events occur.

"We're seeing travelers' questions evolve from 'How can I insure my valuables?' to 'What if I contract Ebola?'," says Singh. "We launched the Travel Insurance Help Center to answer them all."
