SPS Boosts Executive Leadership with Key Appointments
Jenine Johnson joins SPS Leadership Team; Vel Johnson and Jim Maynard Lead Sales Organization
PARSIPPANY, N.J., Jan. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Strategic Products and Services (SPS), is proud to announce the addition of Jenine Johnson as vice president of services and operations. Based in Atlanta, GA, Johnson assumed her SPS executive leadership role on January 3rd.

Johnson brings over 25 years of communications industry experience and expertise. She joins SPS from Avaya where she most recently served as Sales Vice President, US Services. In this role, Jenine led the Avaya services sales team transformation and improved key metrics such as renewal and point-of-sale attach rates. Johnson has also served as Avaya North America Sales Operations Vice President and other roles with increasing responsibility within AT&T and Lucent Technologies.
Johnson reports to Jim Felicetti, SPS chief operating officer. "We have had the opportunity to work with Jenine through our Avaya channel relationship and we welcome her to the SPS leadership team," said Felicetti. "Her professional services knowledge, work ethic and leadership skills are well suited to our focus and position us to grow our business."
Former SPS Vice President of Services and Operations Vel Johnson, has strategically transitioned to vice president of sales. In his new role, he supports the SPS Government Solutions Practice and will share leadership of the growing SPS sales organization with Jim Maynard. Maynard, vice president of sales and marketing, also supports the Global Solutions Practice and marketing organization.
