With Sound Physician's unique hospitalist team model, patients at Spring Valley will experience the benefit of around-the-clock, in-house coverage: quicker, smoother and more seamless care for patients needing admission from the hospital's emergency department.

The Sound Physicians team at Spring Valley Hospital is a result of careful recruitment to best service the needs of the community. The initial team of eight physicians and one hospitalist nurse will be led by Chief Hospitalist Christine Reynoso, M.D., who has provided patient care and hospitalist program leadership in the Las Vegas community since 2004. Dr. Reynoso formerly served as a lead hospitalist at the University of Washington's Community-based Residency Program. Reynoso is recognized as a Senior Fellow in Hospital Medicine by the Society of Hospital Medicine.
