Spredfast Launches Spruce Up Your Social Webinar Series
Industry Analysts and Spredfast Customers Share How to Freshen Up Enterprise Social Presence
AUSTIN, Texas, May 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Spredfast, a leading social media management system provider, today announced it will co-present a series of webinars focused on how to groom and grow a social business. The series will be presented in partnership with industry thought leaders Jason Falls, Michael Brito, and Jeremiah Owyang and customers including agency Social Distillery, Intuit, and Aramark.
While the proliferation of social business within the enterprise continues to grow, a recent Altimeter Group report found that many companies still do not have a clear and coordinated approach to social media throughout the company. The Spruce up Your Social series aims to provide insight on how to modify social media efforts to meet business objectives.
The first webinar in the series, "Creating and Using Great Content," will take place on May 15, 2012 at 11 am CT. Presenter Jason Falls will share why content is key with best practices on how to utilize content well in social. "Content is going to be the core of any social media or even social business strategy," said Jason Falls, blogger and CEO of Social Media Explorer. "It's what your customers and prospects are attracted to. Doing content right gets you started on the right foot. Without it, you've got a real up hill battle ahead of you."
Later in this series, attendees will learn about the importance of understanding their customers and delivering unique experiences. Edelman Digital's Michael Brito will explore the path to satisfying social customers, "Reciprocal Altruism is this idea to 'give without any expectation of receiving anything in return'," says Brito, SVP Social Business at Edelman Digital. "If marketers can start thinking this way when it comes to the social customer, they will have the power to turn friends, fans and followers into true advocates and lovers of their brand."
In the final session, attendees will gain insights on proper organization and process to succeed at social. Altimeter Group Analyst, Jeremiah Owyang, will speak to how "like a disease, social media proliferation will leave companies crippled - unless they develop a strategy to manage now," from his recent report A Strategy for Managing Social Media Proliferation. According to the findings, "some companies have opened a vital Pandora's box: we found that global corporations are struggling to manage an average of 178 business-related social media accounts - a number likely to grow if unchecked."
Each of these sessions will include insights from industry leaders with real-world success stories on how they're implementing social media initiatives at their respective organizations.
