Prepare to feel the musical revolution as Steel Pulse lays down its Reggae roots on August 20th at the Showroom. Steel Pulse may have explored various styles of music since they started out in 1975, but when it comes to the message, the UK's Grammy-Winning reggae band has remained close to their roots. The Group has continued their commitment to fighting injustice, educating the masses, and promoting positive messages through spiritually uplifting music. Opening up for Steel Pulse, is TRIBE-O.
He's been credited for giving the Eagles their rock and roll edge ... now he flies solo. Grammy Award Winner and Former lead guitarist of the Eagles band, Don Felder will perform at the Showroom on November 20th singing some of the explosive hits he's co-written or performed for 27 years. Set List includes "Hotel California," "Life in the Fast Lane," "One of These Nights," "Heartache Tonight."
After many years of fan demand, Randy Bachman and Fred Turner, two giants of rock n' roll, are finally reuniting for the first time in more than 20 years. The musicians at the heart of legendary Canadian rock band Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Bachman & Turner, will be bringing their hit tunes to the casino on October 16th. In the mid 70s there was no one bigger than Bachman-Turner Overdrive. They notched hits like "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet," "Taking Care of Business" and "Let It Ride," in over 20 countries.
Al Green will bring soul to the Coachella Valley this October 22 during a performance at the Casino's Showroom. Having been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, hitting the Rolling Stones Top 100 Artists of all time and producing over a dozen top singles, Al Green's music has continued to touch and impact all genres of music. "Tired of Being Alone," "Let's Stay Together" and "Put a Little Love in Your Heart" are only a few out of the many songs that we recognize of his as those mood setting hits.
The legendary Black Crowes take the stage at Spotlight 29 on December 8th. Having sold over 20 million albums, they were very much pioneers of American hard rock and the definitive sound of the 90s. "Hard to Handle," "Jealous Again," and "Twice as Hard," are a few of the songs which brought them to the top of the charts. After breaking up and eventually reuniting, the Black Crowes have now released a tour de force that they will be performing across the nation as a partial acoustic, partial electric set.
Voted one of Variety's "10 Comics to Watch" in 2008, Ralphie May, makes a stop in the Showroom on December 18th. Since his debut on season one of "Last Comic Standing," audiences can't get enough of the larger than life comedian. He has a no nonsense point of view and the ability to connect with a diverse audience by pointing out society's hypocrisies. Ralphie doesn't shy away from touchy topics or ethnic jokes, nor does he bite his tongue when society suggests, because he sincerely believes that as long as what he's saying is true, people need to hear it.
