Splash Entertainment Moves to New Studio Data Center Bundle Featuring Infortrend, ATTO Technology and Tiger Technology Solutions

SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- To improve data consolidation and maximize performance, Splash Entertainment, an animation studio involved in distribution, post production, online content creation and video on demand (VOD), moved away from older, mismatched storage solutions and switched to Motion Media's new 4K Studio Bundle, which is built upon Infortrend's EonStor DS storage systems. The bundle also includes solutions from Infortrend's technology partners, namely Tiger Technology's Workflow Controller and ATTO's 16Gb/s FC connectivity and offers users in the media and entertainment (M&E) industry with some of the strongest features available.

Before making the move, Splash entertainment was using five different storage systems, including an old AVID Unity, 4GB SAN, 1GB NAS along with numerous USB drives and needed a better and more efficient data center to support new operations involved in the creation of full-length animated feature films in addition to its regular lineup of animated television series.
