Spirit Airlines Grows in Houston; Starts Ultra Low Fare Service to Chicago and Las Vegas
HOUSTON, Oct. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Just two weeks after starting service in Houston, Spirit Airlines (NASDAQ: SAVE) is already expanding with the addition of daily nonstop service to two more cities. The airline today began ultra low fare service from Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) to Chicago O'Hare International Airport and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport.
Spirit recently started operations at IAH with twice daily nonstop service between Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on September 20, 2012, with connections available to 12 destinations throughout the Americas, including Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Fort Myers, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Oakland/San Francisco, Phoenix/Mesa, Portland (Oregon), Tampa, and Toluca/Mexico City.
