WASHINGTON, May 5, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Spirit Airlines Flight Attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, AFL-CIO (AFA), today voted to accept a new contract with significant improvements for the more than 2,200 Flight Attendants. The agreement was reached with the assistance of the National Mediation Board.

Vigorous negotiations began over nine years ago and culminated in a five-year deal that dramatically increases wages plus other pay factors. The new agreement also locks-in the best health insurance coverage for Flight Attendants in the industry and improves job protections and work rules.
