Spire Global Introduces Sony Conference Room Connect

VAN NUYS, Calif., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Spire Global, the exclusive source for Sony Video Conferencing in the United States, is excited to unveil Sony Conference Room Connect, which allows organizations to easily launch video conferencing solutions organization-wide from mobile PC users to complete Sony Video Conferencing room systems.

The Sony Conference Room Connect solution accomplishes this goal by allowing organizations to connect any number of Sony Video Conferencing Room systems and add any number of mobile PC users for a low monthly price.

The Sony Conference Room Connect solution also includes a Virtual Meeting Room, powered by Visual Nexus, that allows any combination of High Definition or Standard Definition video conferencing endpoints to meet.

For example, a solution that consists of one Sony PCS-XG80 High Definition Room system and five remote users connecting from their PC's would be priced around $83 per connection per month.  Then, any of the six connections (laptops and Room systems) could connect with each other in a point-to-point call or they could meet in the Virtual Meeting Room.  Additionally, simultaneous Virtual Meetings would be possible allowing the organization to meet as two groups of three participants, three groups of two participants, or any other combination.
