Spire Capital Partners With Industry Executive, Gil Santaliz, To Evaluate Fiber Communications Opportunities

NEW YORK, Feb. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Spire Capital Partners, a leading lower middle market focused private equity firm specializing in investments in the business services, information services, education, media and communications sectors, and Gilberto (Gil) Santaliz, the former founder, owner and CEO of 4Connections, have today announced their partnership to work together to evaluate and seek private investment opportunities in the fiber communications sector. Post an investment by Spire Capital, it is anticipated that Gil will become a member of the board of directors of the company into which an investment has been made.
