Spin Master wins big at Toy of the Year Awards

NEW YORK, NY, Feb. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - Spin Master Corp., ("Spin Master") (TSX: TOY), a leading global children's entertainment company and one of the world's top five toy companies, has been recognized with two Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards at the North American International Toy Fair in New York City.

The award-winning toy company is recognized throughout the industry for its innovation and creativity; this year, the company was awarded TOTYs for Bunchems, Activity Toy of the Year and Meccanoid G15, Innovative Toy of the Year. Spin Master also received nominations in three other categories: Air Hogs, Boy Toy of the Year; Zoomer Kitty, Girl Toy of the Year; and Paw Patrol for Property of the Year.

This year's TOTY announcement at the North American International Toy Fair follows significant wins in the UK last month at the Toy Industry Awards. There, Spin Master was awarded Creative Toy of the Year for Wacky-tivities Kinetic Sand and Pre-School Toy of the Year for Paw Patrol Paw Patroller.
