Spin Master and Liberty Entertainment Group bring the spirit of giving to the 7th Annual Caring & Sharing Holiday Banquet in support of the Children's Breakfast Clubs
TORONTO, Nov. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ - Spin Master Corp. (TSX:TOY; www.spinmaster.com), a leading global children's entertainment company, in partnership with Liberty Entertainment Group, held its annual Caring & Sharing Holiday Banquet in support of the Children's Breakfast Clubs at Toronto's renowned entertainment complex, Liberty Grand. The highly-anticipated event involved over 1,200 children and teachers from the Children's Breakfast Clubs affiliated schools in the Greater Toronto Area and rural Ontario. Notably, the 7th Annual Caring & Sharing Holiday Banquet featured a special address from The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada.
Over 400 employees from Spin Master's Toronto headquarters participated in the event. Donning angel wings, they helped each child select two Spin Master toys – one for themselves and another to share with a friend. Following the toy selection, the children were treated to face-painting, toys and games, a dance party and a formal luncheon.
"The employees in our global headquarters look forward to the Caring & Sharing Holiday Banquet every year," said Ronnen Harary, Spin Master's Co-Chief Executive Officer. "Seeing the kids having fun and embracing the event's spirit of giving has become a Spin Master holiday tradition."
Partners for the Caring & Sharing Holiday Banquet in support of the Children's Breakfast Clubs include Liberty Entertainment Group, who generously donated the venue and over 200 Liberty Group staff volunteers, Toronto Police Services, Carquest, Centennial College, North American Produce Buyers, The Don Valley Hotel & Suites, The Jazz Pilots and The International Policing Association.
"Spin Master's generosity and kindness truly reflect what the Children's Breakfast Clubs is all about," stated Rick Gosling, President and Founder, of the Children's Breakfast Clubs. "The event's "Caring and Sharing" theme allows the children to receive a fabulous gift for themselves and another to share with someone they care about. This spirit of giving is a core value the children will retain throughout their lives."
"Everyone has come together to make this an unforgettable day for all the children involved," said Nick Di Donato, President of the Liberty Entertainment Group. "The event is a true reflection of partnerships, and we're pleased to host the annual Caring & Sharing Holiday Banquet in support of the Children's Breakfast Clubs."
