Spheryx Results on Model Water Quality Samples Published in Water Research
A paper describing the application of Spheryx's proprietary technology, Total Holographic Characterization®, to the study and monitoring of water quality has been accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed journal Water Research.
NEW YORK, June 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Spheryx announces the publication of an article entitled "Holographic characterization of contaminants in water: Differentiation of suspended particles in heterogeneous dispersions" in the peer-reviewed journal, Water Research, which can be found at https://doi.org/10.1016/j.watres.2017.06.006. The work was a collaboration of Spheryx, Inc., Professor David G. Grier of New York University, and Professor Jeffrey McCutcheon and his research group at the University of Connecticut. Authors from Spheryx include Dr. Laura A. Philips, Dr. David B. Ruffner, Dr. Fook Chiong Cheong, Mr. Jaroslaw M. Blusewicz and Ms. Priya Kasimbeg. The paper demonstrates that Spheryx's proprietary Total Holographic Characterization® is an effective method for quantitatively detecting and characterizing multiple types of individual sub-visible contaminants in water. The technology is fast enough for continuous concentration monitoring and can monitor multiple components simultaneously in complex heterogeneous mixtures.
