Spend Summer in the Studio! Summer Camp 2017 at the Coral Springs Museum of Art
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Coral Springs Museum of Art is reinventing summer camp in Broward County for the 15th consecutive year with "Summer in the Studio." This 10-week program, for youth ages 6 to 16, is not your typical arts and crafts summer camp. "Summer in the Studio" provides youth with a plethora of educational, hands-on art experiences – from innovative game design and 3D modeling, to traditional painting and more!
This year, there are two registration options for budding artists who are looking to have an amazing art experience. Parents, together with their youngster, can select a specific medium of interest or choose the "Art All Week" option, in which your camper will be placed in a wide range of fun, age-appropriate art classes.
"Making the registration process easy for busy families is paramount to the Museum, so we have streamlined it and added the opportunity to select full-day quality programming for each age group," said Julia B. Andrews, Executive Director of the Coral Springs Museum of Art.
The "Summer in the Studio" summer camp program at the Coral Springs Museum of Art begins the week of June 12 and ends the week of August 14. In addition to the multiple class offerings, new offerings this year include Video Game Design, Teen Sculpture, Cosplay Costumes and Papier Mache.
Summer camp fees are $135 per session for members and $150 for future members.
