"Over the past seven years, David has overseen our expansion build-outs of the SESH and Gulfstream systems and managed numerous relationships with our key electric utility customers in the Southeast who, we anticipate, will be further rationalizing their incremental natural gas requirements to meet new generation needs due to fuel oil and coal conversions," said Mark Fiedorek, group vice president, Spectra Energy, Transmission & Storage, Southeast.
"David's leadership will be critical in the development and execution of Spectra Energy's new service offerings in the Southeast market," he said.
Shammo has been with Spectra Energy and its predecessor companies since 1981. A native of Ohio, Shammo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Akron. He will continue to be located in Tampa, Fla.
