Spectra Energy Corp Names Frances Jeter as Group Vice President, Internal and External Affairs

HOUSTON, June 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Spectra Energy Corp (NYSE: SE) today announced it has named Frances Jeter as group vice president of internal and external affairs, responsible for internal and external communications, crisis communications, branding and graphics, communications services, stakeholder outreach and sustainability.

Jeter has more than 20 years experience in marketing, public affairs and business and nonprofit management. Before joining Spectra Energy, she served as chief marketing officer for Bracewell & Giuliani, LLP. In that capacity, she was responsible for the firm's strategic business development and internal and external communications. Jeter previously served as vice president of public affairs for Duke Energy Gas Transmission, a predecessor company of Spectra Energy.

Additionally, Jeter has served in a number of marketing, development and public affairs leadership roles for Rice University, the University of Houston System, the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, Aminoil and Geosource, Inc.
