HOUSTON, June 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Spectra Energy Corp (NYSE: SE) today announced an open season for crude oil shipments on the Express pipeline from Hardisty, Alberta, Canada to all points along its system, including a new proposed interconnection to a rail terminal under development in Casper, Wyoming. The open season begins today and will run until August 9, 2013, with service beginning as early as October 1, 2013.
"We're pleased to offer this open season on our recently acquired Express pipeline to continue to meet the needs of our refinery customers and also expand our customer base," said Duane Rae, president of Spectra Energy Liquids. "The Express system is well-positioned to provide for the increasing oil transportation needs in the region and Spectra Energy is moving quickly to secure that growth opportunity."
Potential shippers that desire copies of the open season documents must execute a Confidentiality Agreement (CA). Interested parties can obtain a CA from Matt Cheadle, at [email protected] or 403-699-1371, or Pat Whitty, at [email protected] or 713-627-5432.
