Speck's CandyShell Clear Is America's #1 Best Selling Smartphone Case

SAN MATEO, Calif., June 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Everyone wants to protect their smartphone, but not everyone wants to cover it up.  In April 2016, the top-selling case in the U.S. was Speck's CandyShell Clear*, according to NPD Group. That includes cases sold at retail and online, and it is the first time CandyShell claimed the top spot after consistently being the #1 clear case December 2015 - April 2016.*

While most clear cases yellow quickly or are made of flimsy TPU, CandyShell Clear is made with the same innovative material automakers use for headlight lens covers. A hard, shock-resistant exterior wraps around a soft, rubbery inner layer that is highly durable, UV and chemically resistant, and has been lab-tested to resist yellowing. This is the first time it has been applied to a smartphone case and it has helped to make CandyShell Clear a top seller.
