LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Today at CES Unveiled, Speck launched Case-E, a new tablet case, designed to be a safe, functional and cherished accessory for children. Case-E is an exciting evolution of Speck's award-winning product, iGuy, designed with bright colors, sturdy but soft materials and flexible arms you can hold onto or wrap around car seats for safe viewing on the go.
The all-new Case-E features Speck's proprietary shock barrier, providing 6-foot drop protection, while the external EVA foam layer offers a soft, comfortable grip that's easy to hold. The exterior squishy layer is BPA free to put parents' minds at ease. Both sides of the case offer flexible, versatile and detachable EVA foam "arms" that provide a secure grip for even the smallest hands, stands for landscape or portrait mode and a tie for securing the device to a vehicle's headrest.
Children are using tablets more than ever for education, games and entertainment, at home and on the move. Speck ensures these devices are protected, accessible and versatile enough to match the wide imagination of the young user, while offering Speck's trademark protection.
Also on display at CES is Speck's new grip-assist accessory GrabTab, available in a wide variety of colors and patterns, and the recently launched cases Presidio Pro and Presidio Stay Clear.
GrabTab is a super-slim grip assist accessory designed to offer a secure hold on devices of any size without impeding any functions of the phone. Unlike traditional grip assist products, GrabTab is compatible with wireless charging. At the size of a playing card and only 3 mm thick, GrabTab maintains the sleek body of today's devices.
Presidio Stay Clear is a dual-layer case featuring a newly developed coating that provides a superior level of protection against yellowing and discoloration. It not only resists discoloration from the sun's UV rays, but also oils that are in makeup, lotions and substances that cases often come into contact with. The inner layer of each Presidio Stay Clear case is made of IMPACTIUM Clear, a proprietary shock-absorbing material that helps protect against drops of up to 8 feet.
With the Presidio Pro, Speck sets a new standard in all-around device protection, incorporating an anti-microbial treatment that inhibits the growth of bacteria on the case. Presidio Pro also features 10-foot drop protection and raised-bezel screen protection. The scratch-resistant soft-touch exterior keeps the case looking newer, longer. This dual-layer case has ridges of Speck's proprietary IMPACTIUM rubber on the inside perimeter that compress on impact to absorb and disperse shock.
Case-E will begin shipping in Q1 2019 priced at $39.95, and available for the last five generations of 9.7 inch iPad devices. The rest of these products are available now on www.speckproducts.com, and at Speck's UK, France, Germany and European sites.
