Special Olympics Georgia to host an Over the Edge Event at Buckhead Tower at Lenox Square (formerly the Lenox Bldg.) in Atlanta!
ATLANTA, April 16, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Saturday, April 20, adjacent to Lenox Square Mall at the Buckhead Tower building, over 100 folks will rappel from the 20-story building for an event to benefit Special Olympics Georgia. This is the second year of the event and it is expected to raise over $150,000 for the organization. Special Olympics Georgia thanks AutoTrader.com as the premiere sponsor of the event.
Participants raised at least $1,000 for the opportunity to go Over the Edge at The Buckhead Tower at Lenox Square, located at 3399 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA 30326 off of Lenox Road. Participants are men, women and children 16 years of age and up. The first participant will rappel at 8:45 a.m. so come out and cheer on these brave individuals. Special Olympics Georgia thanks all of the edgers and volunteers for their participation.
