Special Olympics Georgia Receives $80,000 Grant From The UPS Foundation
ATLANTA, Jan. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Special Olympics Georgia received a $80,000 grant from The UPS Foundation, the charitable arm of UPS (NYSE: UPS). The grant will be used for the five state competitions hosted for children and adult athletes with intellectual disabilities across the state as well as the meals venue at the State Summer Games next May at Emory University.
Special Olympics Georgia is thankful to The UPS Foundation for their tremendous support as this will help serve more Special Athletes year round and at the state level games.
