Held annually by the National Autism Association (NAA), the conference doubles as a getaway for caregivers and their families with family-friendly events scheduled throughout the four-day lineup. "Each year we strive to make our annual conference both a learning experience and a worry-free setting where families can relax and recharge," commented NAA President Wendy Fournier.
Special events include two workout sessions on the beach with Tae Bo® Fitness Creator Billy Blanks® which are open to the public. The sessions will take place on November 10th at 5:00 p.m. and November 11th at 7:00 a.m. The NAC will also feature an elegant meet and greet party for all conference attendees, the annual Life's a Beach dinner party out on the sand and a karaoke after-party. A unique interactive Q&A session with top physicians accompanied by complimentary food and beverages will be presented on Friday night through the generosity of the NAC's platinum sponsor, OxyHealth, LLC. "We want parents and professionals to leave feeling informed, inspired and rejuvenated," Fournier said. "It's not everyday you get to kickbox on a beautiful beach with a world-renowned fitness expert like Billy, or kick back and relax with people who truly understand your day-to-day life. Our conference is definitely an experience that lifts the spirit, which is our goal," she says.
The National Autism Conference will take place November 10th through the 13th at the TradeWinds Island Grand Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida. Free food items and beverages will be available throughout the conference to help make this an affordable event for families. Its sponsors include OxyHealth, LLC, Autism Speaks, The Great Plains Laboratory, Master Supplements, Houston Enzymes, The Autism File Magazine, Algonot, The Learning Lane, New Beginnings Nutritionals, Lee Silsby Compounding Pharmacy, Lifemax, and APS Pharmacy.
