Sparta Systems Announces Regional Board Appointments of Senior Leadership Team
HAMILTON, N.J., July 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sparta Systems, Inc., an industry pioneer and a global leader in enterprise quality management software (EQMS) solutions, today announced that Bruce Kratz, vice president of Research & Development, and Sharon Marnien, vice president of Human Resources (HR), have been named to the Thomas Edison State University Foundation and Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce boards respectively.
In his role at Sparta Systems, Kratz leads product development across the company's portfolio of EQMS solutions—leveraging 25 years' experience in enterprise software engineering and cloud operations. Previously, he held leadership roles at IBM, Hewlett-Packard and Bluestone Software, where he specialized in scaling high-growth, international software development operations and leading organizations through Agile transformations.
Kratz is also a co-inventor of a provisional patent for work in distributed quality systems. He received a B.S. in Computer Science from Monmouth University, where he now serves on the School of Science Advisory Board.
A 20-year industry veteran, Marnien is responsible for leading global HR functions at Sparta Systems, including talent management and acquisition, leadership development and organizational design, employee engagement, compensation and benefits. Prior to joining the company in 2011, she held senior HR leadership roles for organizations undergoing significant growth and change, having managed HR divisions at Hartford Financial Services Group, Lincoln Financial Group and Wells Fargo.
In addition to the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce, Marnien also serves as a member of the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group (GPSEG) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
