Sparta Commercial Welcomes Washington Township, Ohio
NEW YORK, July 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sparta Commercial Services, Inc. (OTCBB: SRCO) today announced that the Washington Township, Ohio, Police Department has become the most recent governmental agency to join its Municipal Lease Program with the acquisition of a new Dodge Charger police cruiser to replace an older vehicle.
Sparta's Municipal Lease Program has been attracting a growing number of governmental agencies from towns, counties, and cities across the country in recent years, largely because the Program offers an excellent alternative to the traditional "all up-front" method of purchasing essential equipment required by various jurisdictions. By turning to the Sparta Program, municipalities are able to spread the costs of equipment over an extended period of time. The Municipal Lease Program's growing popularity is also a reflection of its ability to support virtually every asset class that governmental agencies require, including motorcycles, cruisers, trucks, busses, EMS and fire equipment, and even public works needs such as street sweepers, garbage trucks, and other heavy equipment.
Nolan Gierhart, the Fleet Manager at Coughlin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, the vendor delivering the vehicle, added, "This is the first municipal lease we've done through Sparta Commercial Services, and we're expecting to close a few others in the upcoming months with other jurisdictions as well. We are pleased and impressed with how knowledgeable and helpful Sparta's Municipal leasing professionals have been."
