Sparks Brings Solid Experience to White Lodging's Revenue Management Team
MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Aug. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- White Lodging is pleased to announce the appointment of Debbie Sparks to the position of Corporate Revenue Analyst. For the past 15 years, Sparks has worked for Marriott International where she gained a wealth of experience in revenue management and analysis.
"With little growth on the supply side of the industry and with demand increasing, we saw an opportunity to add more experience and depth to our Revenue Management team," said Dave Sibley, President and CEO of White Lodging's Hotel Management Services. "Debbie has a great deal of knowledge and has proven she is highly capable of gaining profitable market share."
While with Marriott International, Sparks worked in many major markets including Philadelphia, New York, Washington, DC, Denver and London. Most recently she served as the Area Director of Revenue Strategy in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Eastern Europe. Sparks is a graduate of Cornell University's Hotel Administration program.
In her new role as Corporate Revenue Analyst, Sparks will be responsible for providing analysis, trending and training that contribute to White Lodging's profitability and market share growth. She will work directly with Revenue Managers, Regional Vice Presidents and General Managers to ensure brand adherence and to uncover opportunities for both brand development and segment growth.
Asked to comment on her new role, Sparks shared that she is excited to join White Lodging because of the company's reputation in the hospitality industry and its corporate environment that supports and rewards personal growth and achievement.
