Sparkman Named To CCB Board Of Directors

SOUTH HILL, Va., March 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Citizens Community Bank (OTC: CZYB) announces the addition of Sheri A. Sparkman to its Board of Directors. She will serve for election at the upcoming May 2013 shareholders meeting.

Originally from South Hill, Sparkman attended Meredith College before graduating from Braxton Business School in Richmond, Va. She and her husband returned to the area to collaborate on family business operations at Virginia Homes Manufacturing and Superior Investments, Inc. Sparkman has served as secretary and treasurer at Superior Investments, Inc., a development and property management firm, for nearly 30 years.

Outside the office, she has devoted countless hours and remains supportive of Lake Country community and charitable programs. Sparkman performed civic leadership roles for area community events, school and athletic programs, and was the long-time treasurer for Friends of the R.T. Arnold Library in South Hill. She is past president and former Woman of the Year for the South Hill Junior Women's Club and past president of the American Heart Association's Mecklenburg County unit. She is a member, Clerk of Session and former children's Sunday School teacher at South Hill Presbyterian Church, and recently served as public relations chair for the Community Memorial Healthcenter Capital Campaign. Married to Mike Sparkman for 32 years, they have three grown children and reside in South Hill.
