Sparking Thought and Creativity: DaDaABC Introduces Mind-Mapping Classes
SAN FRANCISCO, June 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- DaDaABC is a leading EdTech company in China that is committed to upholding one of their core philosophies: "empower our children to achieve more." The company does so by providing their students with a high quality, comprehensive English learning platform, but also a nurturing environment that works to foster each unique personality and develop their skills. This summer, DaDaABC is introducing a series of mind-mapping classes in order to encourage students to keep practicing English. This series will also focus on developing critical thinking, cultural understanding, and the student's personality. It also offers a unique way for instructors to teach and interact with their students.
The mind-mapping series is divided into three levels based on age groups. Each level consists of ten classes with each class spanning thirty minutes long. Incorporating DaDaABC's well-known "fixed one-on-one" teaching model, students take the classes with one set instructor.
"We encourage our students to think and dream big. Although we provide a platform for the students to learn English with native speakers, we want our students to experience thinking about and solving problems from a different perspective. That is our mission and our goal as an EdTech company," said Hui Zhi, founder and CEO of DaDaABC.
The teaching content offered at DaDaABC is diverse, and each level covers a wide variety of curriculums with different vocabulary and sentences that corresponds with the student's current English proficiency. For students in higher grades, there are classes focused on future career planning. The goal here with these classes is to inspire students to truly think about their interests and what career paths are available for those interests.
The summer classes will be using a textbook titled Reach, and using the mind-mapping method, the students are able to better memorize key messages and retain new knowledge. Students will be taught how to analyze and summarize key points from their lessons, and this will help simplify their learning process. Mind-mapping is a method used widely in elementary schools all across the US, and focuses on the diffusion of topics. It is one of the main reasons why primary school students in the US have a striking amount of readings. DaDaABC strives to bring the advanced international education system to its students, and to help develop all of their abilities through learning English.
"DaDaABC's curriculum and teaching model are highly targeted in order to achieve the best results. We're always thinking about and discovering new ways to make learning English a more meaningful experience for our students, and how their experience can come to benefit their future. The mind-mapping classes are aimed at stimulating students' ability to analyze and summarize their readings. This helps establish a logical and divergent way of thinking," said Joyce, Education VP at DaDaABC, "We want to offer our students an environment where they can grow and learn while playing, talking, and thinking."
