Space Goat Announces Charity Nazi Puncher Anthology
Art and Comic Anthology Will Benefit Southern Poverty Law Center
BELLINGHAM, Wash., April 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Publisher Space Goat Productions is producing Nazi Puncher: a comic and art anthology benefitting the Southern Poverty Law Center. The anthology will exclusively feature art and comics depicting Nazis or fascists getting punched, smacked, kicked, or generally beat down on.
"We ask the big questions at Space Goat, like, 'when is it appropriate to punch a Nazi?'" stated Publisher Shon Bury. "That's not hard to answer," he continued. "We do what our Grandfathers did: We punch Nazis every time they show their faces."
Artists confirmed to be a part of the anthology include Bill Sienkiewicz (Elektra: Assassin, The New Mutants), Ted Naifeh (Courtney Crumrin, Princess Ugg, Heroines), Aaron Alexovich (Serenity Rose, Invader Zim), Ty Templeton (Batman '66, Batman Adventures, Spider-man). Submissions are still open until 4/30 and more details can be found at Space Goat Publishing's website: http://www.spacegoatpublishing.com/nazi-puncher-submission-guidelines/
Both digital and physical versions of the anthology will be available for pre-order online and local comic book stores. Retailers will have the option to get a retailer exclusive cover for the anthology and retailer exclusive Nazi Puncher buttons, tees, stickers, and posters. 100% of the net proceeds will go to the Southern Poverty Law Center. Artists, writers, editors and designers are all donating their time to make this anthology a reality.
"Unlike some publishers," said Space Goat's Director of Marketing and Sales JD Boucher, "Space Goat believes the only time a Nazi should be in a comic or displayed in a store is if they are getting punched in the face."
