In addition, S&P Global supports nine employee resource groups (ERGs), including ParentsNet, which is devoted to the needs of parents and caregivers. The Company has also strengthened its commitment to diversity, including increasing the number of women in senior executive roles and expanding the footprint of WINS, its ERG dedicated to advancing and developing women at all levels.
"We are extremely proud to be among the top companies Working Mother magazine has recognized for offering supportive policies and programs for working families," said France Gingras, Executive Vice President, Human Resources, S&P Global. "This recognition reflects our commitment to ensuring our employees have what they need to be successful while they deliver the essential intelligence we're known for in the capital and commodity markets around the world."
Jennifer Owens, Editorial Director of Working Mother Media, says, "For 31 years, Working Mother has tracked the progress of companies that lead in creating a supportive workplace for America's families. Now more than ever, with changing family dynamics, parental benefits are a key weapon in the war for talent. These companies aim to create the culture that attracts the best talent."
S&P Global was selected for the Working Mother 100 Best Companies based on an extensive application of hundreds of questions. The application included detailed questions about workforce, compensation, child- care and flexibility programs, leave policies and more.
