SP Express Appoints a New Vice President of Operations

PHOENIX, April 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SP Express, a national order fulfillment, distribution and logistics provider, is pleased to announce that Scott Guilmette has joined SP Express as Executive Vice President of Operations.  Mr. Guilmette has over 20 years of operational leadership experience in manufacturing and distribution.   He has focused his last twelve years in supply chain management encompassing areas such as high volume order fulfillment, warehousing, distribution and customer service, and will be responsible for leading the multi-site distribution network and account management strategies for SP Express.

Most recently, Mr. Guilmette served as Vice President of Operations for Saddle Creek Logistics Services - ProLog Logistics in San Diego, California.  His primary responsibilities were to oversee the multi-state distribution network, client services and call center teams for the fulfillment business unit within Saddle Creek.  Prior to Saddle Creek, Mr. Guilmette held senior operational roles with ProLog Logistics, PracticeWares Dental Supply and Dentsply International.  Mr. Guilmette received his Bachelor of Science in Commerce & Engineering from Drexel University and an MBA from Lehigh University.
