CARROLLTON, Ga., Oct. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Southwire Company, LLC announces the acquisition of DCN Cables of Youngsville, North Carolina - an industry leader in manufacturing power whips for mission critical facilities.

The acquisition includes the company's manufacturing, distribution and corporate support functions and will add nearly 30 employees to the Southwire family as part of the Tools and Assembled Products team.
