Southwest Securities Welcomes Jack Werne as Senior Vice President in Taxable Fixed Income's Memphis Office
DALLAS, Jan. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Southwest Securities, Inc. has announced that Jack Werne has joined the company's taxable fixed income division in Memphis, Tennessee, as Senior Vice President and member of the Financial Institutions Group (FIG).
"Jack's depth of experience and broad knowledge of FIG sales and products will be important assets for our firm as he leads Southwest Securities' taxable sales effort in Memphis," said Daniel Leland, Executive Vice President and Head of Taxable Fixed Income for Southwest Securities. Mr. Werne served as head of collateralized mortgage obligation (CMO) trading and structuring for Morgan Keegan from 1989 to 2005 after nearly a decade with UMIC Securities Corporation in Memphis. He began his career in 1969 as a municipal bond specialist, underwriting and trading municipal bonds and municipal housing bonds.
