Southwest Resources Acquires Mill Technology for Mining Process

DALLAS, May 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Southwest Resources, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SWRS) (the "Company"), a natural resources exploration, production, and mining company, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Southwest Mining & Metals, LLC, has executed an asset purchase agreement to acquire certain technology and intellectual property rights for the extraction of precious metals from rocky ores.

The technology, named the "Goble Mill", is a reduction mill specifically designed to pulverize materials by creating internal high-speed air rotations, which cause intense material-on-material collisions.  This effect allows free metal particles to be freed from the ore material for subsequent recovery by a separate process.

The mill was designed and patented by the Company's CEO, Roger Hall, and Mr. Ralph Goble in the early 1980s.  Mr. Goble was an accomplished inventor of a multitude of technologies spanning from the World War II era until his death in the early 1990s.  He successfully filed and received numerous patents in his lifetime, beginning with the development of two-way radios for secure communications delivered to China by the United States during World War II.  During this time, Mr. Goble developed a multitude of aviation technology, mostly pertaining to avionics, for which he subsequently received numerous patents.  He later worked at Los Alamos, New Mexico with several leading scientists with which he consulted for atomic bomb technologies.  Mr. Goble also developed extensive acoustics technology for the oil and gas industry.  He had numerous patented innovations relating to oil well survey and oil well production instruments, many of which were developed while serving for ten years as chief engineer for the Eastman Oil Well Survey Company.  It was in the later years of his life that he focused on ways to efficiently extract precious metals from various ores, and subsequently developed and patented his pulverizing reduction mill.
