Southwest Ohio Bakery Cafes Run to Raise Money and Awareness
Panera Bread Leads Community in Annual Panerathons for Children's Hunger Alliance
CINCINNATI, Aug. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Panera Bread announces the return of its Southwest Ohio Panerathons in Cincinnati and Dayton. Both events include a 5K walk/run and a Panera Kids™ Fun Run; a quarter-mile course that is free for children 12 and younger.
The fourth annual Cincinnati Panerathon 5K will be held on Saturday, September 10. The race will take place across the street from the Union Center Panera Bread located at 9444 Civic Center Boulevard in West Chester. The 5K walk/run will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the Panera Kids™ Fun Run starting just beforehand at 8:30 a.m.
The fifth annual Dayton Panerathon 5K will be held the day after the Cincinnati race, on Sunday, September 11. The 5K will take place at Centerville High School located at 500 East Franklin Street. The 5K walk/run through the neighborhoods near the high school will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Panera Kids™ Fun Run preceding it at 9:30 a.m.
Participants will receive an event t-shirt and a Panera race bag. The top three finishers, both male and female, as well as to the top three finishers in each age group will be awarded medals.
